Margo Ring

This 1.53 carat antique cushion cut stone was pretty irresistible when we found it. The the warmth of the K color perfectly matched the 18k gold 10-prong setting we had envisioned for it. The flatness of it, not quite a rose-cut but close, meant that we could place it in a super modern and low-profile context serving as the perfect juxtaposition to the facets that date back at least 150 years. The flatness of the stone also meant that it appeared to be the size of a stone twice its carat weight on the finger. New but old but new, in perfect harmony.
