Lamott Necklace

An empty old setting sat collecting dust on an ignored desk for months. Neither the perfect stone nor the perfect moment to hunt for one seemed to exist. The pressure built. Author of the beloved novel Bird by Bird, Anne Lamott, discussed the importance of believing in one’s abilities even during the dreariest of moments. She inspired readers to exercise their creativity at all costs. When approached with an open mind, the empty and dusty old setting was perfect without a stone in the center. This necklace is an homage to her. The reclaimed diamonds are set with rounded backs, so that even if the pendant flips around a bit, it can be appreciated from all angles… just like our efforts.
